We've been teaching dance and exercise in the Bedford area since 2002 and we believe in creating classes for all ages and abilities

Guide Dogs

Dance4all has sponsored puppy guide-dog-in-training Truffle through her training

Bedford Daycare Hospice

On Saturday 8 December 2012, Dance4all held a Christmas performance and party at Christ Church Bedford to raise money for Bedford Daycare Hospice. Students from our ballet, creative, and dance and disability classes performed in Carols and Dances by Candlelight. Following the performance there was tea and coffee, a chocolate fountain, cake stand, bric-a-brac, Fairtrade stand, nail bar and of course Santa's Grotto. Thanks to everyone for your donations and for coming along to support us. Thanks also to the students for their hard work and to our volunteers. Together we raised £224.58 for the hospice.

Neema Children's Home - helping HIV orphans in Kenya

Dance4all supports the Neema School and Children's Home in Eldoret, Kenya. Neema looks after HIV positive orphans, giving them a safe place to live, food, medicine, and clothing, as well as a loving environment in which to grow into happy and successful individuals. Dance4all is not fundraising for this project; the money will come from revenue from our classes.

World Vision Child Sponsorship

As of September 2011, Dance4all has taken on a new project, sponsoring a 7 year old girl in India, Sandya, through World Vision. Our sponsorship is part of the Vaishali Area Development Programme, helping families in extreme poverty.

Update April 2012: We have been told by World Vision that Sandya's family has moved away from the Vaishali area. Rather than switching our sponsorship to another child, we have decided at this time to instead support the Neema Children's Home in Kenya - see above for details.

In July 2011, Dance4all's ongoing campaign to raise money for WaterAid reached its first milestone with the purchase of a hand pump for the developing world.

WaterAid ( works to help people gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education across Africa and Asia. They also run advocacy projects to influence and change government thinking to ensure water and sanitation is provided for all.

Dance4all has been collecting donations for WaterAid at public shows and events and we are pleased to have reached our first target.

Update December 2013: Dance4all is supporting WaterAid's Big Pipe Project through the sale of sport water bottles with the Dance4all logo. All profits from the sale of the bottles will go to WaterAid. Our most recent donation is for £36.61, but bottles will continue to be available for sale at classes.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution

On 16 July 2011 Dance4all held a collection in Bedford town centre to raise money for the RNLI. Due to heavy rain, the dance performances unfortunately could not go ahead, but we still collected over £159 for the lifeboats, with more collected at parent's evenings over the following week giving a grand total of £228.85. Very special thanks to our volunteers with the buckets, parents & students who came along to say hello and also to Mayor Dave Hodgson and local MP Richard Fuller who stopped by for a chat.

Here's how the story appeared in the Times & Citizen (click the link for the article)

Too wet to dance, but fund raising for RNLI is still on

From Mayor Dave Hodgson's office:

The Mayor has asked me to pass on his congratulations for a very successful event. He would also very much like to attend the event you plan for the autumn.

From Richard Fuller MP's office:

I'm delighted to hear that and Richard was happy to know you raised a good amount despite the weather working against you!

If there are any future events, please do keep in touch and let us know!

All the best,
