Wednesdays, 15:30 to 16:30 at Castle Newnham School
After-School Grade 1 Ballet for Years 3 & 4
Wednesday 26th February to Wednesday 26th March
£25.00 for 5-week block
In this after-school club, students will be taught the Royal Academy of Dance Grade 1 Ballet syllabus and will improve their ballet technique, terminology, and musicality.
Ballet can help develop physical strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, and balance, alongside mental discipline, creativity, and confidence. Due to this, it is a fun and engaging activity that can be both physically and mentally rewarding for children.
We have taught dance and exercise in Bedfordshire since 2002 and are pleased to offer our classes to Castle Newnham School students.
We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere and almost informal approach without compromising on our quality of teaching. Angharad, the teacher and founder of Dance4all, trained at the London College of Dance and is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance and the Foundation for Community Dance.
How to join
Please complete and submit the registration form in the section below. Afterwards, you will receive an email advising if there is space in this class for your child. If there isn’t a space, you will have the option of joining the class waiting list to be contacted as soon as a space is available.
Students are welcome to join at any point during the term if there is space.
Communication
Our main method of communication is email. All of our written correspondence is managed by Angharad’s assistant, Kat.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at info@dance4all.co.uk.
Club Fees
Club fees are paid in advance in termly/half-termly blocks. Please be aware that absences are still charged.
Invoices are sent via email at the start of each billing block. We request that payments are made by bank transfer within 14 days.
We offer the first class for free to anyone new to Dance4all to act as a trial class. We also offer a 10% discount to students who will be attending with their siblings.
Uniform and Footwear
There is no class uniform and students will participate in their school PE kits. At no additional cost, we will loan students a pair of ballet flats at the start of each class.
Students are welcome to bring and wear their own ballet flats and we will have ballet flats available for purchase (including discounted second-hand and B-stock) if your child would like to own a pair. However, this is not required as students are welcome to borrow our ballet flats for as long as they attend.
